Hall Contracting undertook a number of stages of the Ivadale Lakes Development for Australand, at Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. This estate, carved into the hillside of Little Mountain, has some spectacular elevated north facing allotments nestled amongst natural bushland.

The project had some unique challenges, not the least of which was the hard sandstone in which most of the work was being carried out. Major blasting was undertaken during one of the stages, which involved removal of an entire hillside.
