In early 2009, Hall was engaged by John Holland to deepen the
temporary pile load out facility for the Abbot Point Coal Terminal
Expansion. After initially engaging another dredging contractor, Hall
Contracting was called in when the other contractor failed to perform.
At short notice CSD Everglade was mobilised to site and in difficult
weather conditions, including a Tropical Cyclone, Hall Contracting
completed the project for John Holland ensuring that their piling
program was not delayed.
Project Highlights
• Dredging in a highly weather exposed area
• Compliance with strict environmental guidelines in the Great Barrier
Reef Marine Park Area.
