Hall Contracting was contracted to carry out maintenance dredging of the Gladstone Marina, to restore the navigable depth in the commercial and recreational craft areas. The project involved the dredging of
300,000 cubic metres of material to a depth of -4m, and pumping to the GPCL deposition ponds 1500m away.

CSD Mabuiag was utilised 24 hours a day, 6 days a week to carry out the project. Hall Contracting’s site management worked in closely with the GPCL Marina management to ensure minimal disruption
to the marina.
