Beach profile prior to replenishment.
Hall Contracting undertook the pumping of around 300,00m3 of sand
to restore the beach located in Botany Bay, Sydney. Due to the distances
in placing the sand on the beach a booster station was used to achieve
required production levels. |

A total of 5 new rock groynes have been constructed to limit any
further erosion of the beach in the future. The footprint for
these were dredged prior to the placement of the rock by Ward
Civil.

Environmental requirements relating to sea grasses limited dredging
of the sand source to within a pre-defined area as well as relocation
of any grasses close to shore prior to replenishment of the beach.
