Nadi River Dredging –
Fiji
Dredge: Kikilu 14”
Client: Fiji Government
Dates: Jan - May 2008
Hall Contracting carried out the dredging of approximately 400,000m3
of sand blocking the mouth of the Nadi River in Fiji.
This sand had choked the river mouth, causing extensive flooding
and damage to crops and houses in the Nadi River delta.
Hall’s Fiji branch carried out this work efficiently, finishing
2 weeks ahead of schedule. Along the way, Hall passed on its knowledge
in training a number of local operators.
