The dredging for this landmark Gold Coast development was undertaken by Hall Contracting using CSD Everglade, 4.5km of pipeline and 3 booster pump stations.

130,000 cubic metres of sand was dredged from the channels adjacent to Wave Break Island and pumped through 400mm pipeline to form 2 large beach areas.

20m long Elcorock T2Mega sandfi lled geotextile containers were used as reclamation protection on the new fi ll area adjacent to Southport, and the reclamation areas were trimmed to profi le using Hall Contracting’s GPS equipped dozers.
