Hall Contracting undertook dredging of the Flyash Dam at Tarong
Local Fired Power Station in Queensland, Australia. The 10"
dredge "Pelican" was used for its ability to work in confined
spaces and handle fine silts.
The material was dredged to a surge bin and then transported
to the large tailings dam.
