This project involved 200,000 m3 of capital dredging works at Melbourne's
Webb Dock to form a swing basin for the Bass Strait ferry. The clay
material was dredged approximately 1.5 km to a bunded area to be
used as future dockland sites.
Unsuitable material was dredged to bottom dump barges and delivered
to the offshore dumping ground. The work was completed off shore
and within budget.
