History:
Hall Contracting Pty Ltd was established in 1946 by Les Hall, as
a business supplying sand and gravel on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Since that time, when the company was a one man operation, Hall
Contracting has grown to some 90 employees with Brian and Peter
Hall taking over as directors.
In recent times, Hall Contracting has focused primarily on dredging
and civil construction work. Dredging projects have been completed
all across Australia and SE Asia, while Hall Contracting's subdivision
work has been concentrated on the Sunshine Coast.

Dredging:
Hall Contracting has wide experience in many forms of dredging projects
including beach replenishment, harbour dredging and environmental
cleanups. Hall Contracting regularly takes on specialist dredging
jobs often considered too difficult or remote for other operators.Examples include dredging of supply barge approaches to 7 islands
of Torres Strait between Australia and Papua New Guinea, dredging
of harbours across PNG and a number of rivers in Fiji.
Larger contracts and projects situated outside Australia (in particular
areas in the southern Pacific and South-East Asia) have also been
undertaken by Hall Contracting. Examples are the Darwin East Arm
Port Upgrade, Dampier Supply Base Expansion, East HP Gas Pipeline
Project in Brunei and the BLCP Project in Thailand. Hall Contracting
has the maintenance backup and technical support to handle a range
of challenges. The dredging fleet includes GPS surveying hardware
to ensure a professional finish and to improve dredging efficiency.
Civil Contracting:
Hall has been involved in civil construction work for over 30 years
on the Sunshine Coast. From bulk earthworks to sewer, storm water,
roadwork's and water reticulation, Hall Contracting has the expertise
to construct award winning residential estates.
