Hall Contracting was engaged by Moreton Bay Region Council to undertake seawall replacement works at Biggs Avenue in Beachmere. This project involved the replacement of an existing grouted stone-pitched seawall that is failing in places along the Biggs Avenue section.

The existing seawall was demolished and disposed of while a new rock armour wall was constructed in its place. This included a footpath, viewing platform, stairs and landscaping works. Key deliverables included the demolition and replacement of 480m of existing seawall, the supply and placement of 3500m² of Elcomax 1200r geofabric, the supply and install of a reinforced concrete crown wall, and the supply and construction of a staircase and viewing platform, including piling.
