Outer Island Maritime Infrastructure Project

#About this project

Hall is delivering the latest stage of the Outer Island Maritime Infrastructure Project on behalf of the Tuvalu Government and Asian Development Bank, with works expected to conclude in late 2024.

The project involves construction of a new boat harbour in Nui, including a wharf, navigational channel, boat ramp, community building and shoreline reclamation.

The new climate-resilient infrastructure will enable safe and efficient transport of people and goods to and from Nui and support local industry and tourism.

Building capacity within local communities is one of Hall’s key focus areas when undertaking projects in the Pacific Islands, and we are committed to providing training and employment opportunities to Tuvaluan workers.
