As part of the wider sewerage strategy for the Sunshine Coast, Unitywater required a major trunk sewer rising main to be installed through the Brightwater Estate development. On behalf of Unitywater, Hall Contracting was engaged by Stockland to install the rising main.
The installation of the 630mm dia HDPE involved complex trenching, pipe welding and installation within existing road reserves. Key project deliverables included 2900m of 710mm dia HDPE sewer rising main, and 120m of direction drilling up to 12m deep under the existing lake.
